The first thing I saw when I tuned in a little late was AD shutting down a breakaway 2 on 1 by bothering the driver just enough without ever truly leaving the guy in the dunker spot open. Say what you want, but his defensive instincts are pretty elite.

Watching football but we have got to play more effectively on defense.

I'm just enjoying this very rare AD vs. Embiid matchup. We are blessed!

what an absolute great display of 3 point shooting they put on today.

It's really sad to see that our supposed superstar in AD couldn't put up more of a fight. 13 points and just totally passive the entire night. His defense was whatever as well. Annoying seeing that dude in a Mavs jersey.

If the 3-pt line didn't exist like in the 70s, this team would be unstoppable. They have like 7-8 guys on the roster who can get 2 points whenever they want. Nonstop buckets with ease. Just don't ask them to make any threes though  Sick

Sharknado 3 ... starring Mark Cuban and a cast of old actors is on at 4:00 am on the SYFY channel this morning. Pretty sure it was worse than the Mavericks game. Cuban isn't winning any trophies for that monstrosity.

The Sixers got great games from Maxey, Embiid, Edgecombe, and Grimes. That's why they won. Nothing else needs to be said.

That's a few rough games in a row for Flagg. Seems they're back to experimenting with him at point guard. I hope they're not running him into the ground in a lost season. He's at nearly 35 mpg, is top 10 in distance covered per game, and has played in 34 of 35 so far. I wouldn't mind if he got the occasional night off.

On the bright side, the Mavs moved up to 7th in the tankathon standings.

It is quite remarkable how good Maxey has become. A lot of hard work but with his improved shot it makes him almost unguardable. 2020 draft was a weird one but I have some pride that I judged that draft much better then Donnie, Bob v or Cuban. Although with class warfare going on they probably weren’t even focusing on the draft.

I am a little jealous playing teams with speed and shooting. Philly didn’t even shot well last night. Although I like the quick ball movement and then attacking against the right matchup leading towards a rim bucket or an open three. Much better then Our guys holding the ball with limited movement that leads to a one on one creation in a crowded paint.

I agree about Maxey. He's really developed into a nightmare matchup, with his speed, three-level shot making, and improved defense. Philly is clearly his team now.

If Cuban based decisions on artifical stuff like

"drafting Maxey cause he´s from Dallas",
"drafting Bane, cause he went to TCU",
"signing Randle cause he had a tattoo of Dallas",
"and acquiring Markkanen, cause he´s a 7´0 PF from Europe",

Mavs would have had a much easier rebuild.  Instead he chased DeAndre Jordan around Houston. Cry

Cuban after 2011 was a total disgrace for the Dallas Mavericks. Fact.

Mavs playing the Rockets tonight. Looks like I'm not the only one that doesn't care.
