I think folks hoping for a hard core bottom 5 tank are going to be disappointed. I think Flagg is already too good for that. They will still be a lottery team, especially if the take their time on bringing AD and Kyrie back and/or trade them, but Flagg is going to win some games.

Yeah, now that the guards are playing it’s pretty clear that this is going to get better. Flagg improving combined with Lively and PJW out there is no joke. They’re starting to look more like the deep team we expected. Then again, this was just Portland, and they couldn’t win in regulation.

Finally a dominant 3-pt shooting game...like they SHOULD be doing. They've played almost every game at home so far...the NBA really tried to help them out to start the season. They should all be familiar with the AAC and shooting like prime Klay by now

Props to Kidd for putting the ball in Flagg's hands late. He has consistently done that this year. I just don't want to see how he was in the first half again. Bad half's happen. Low scoring/poor shooting/turnover half's happen. You can't go a full half with literally he is not involved. If this is happening, run a play for him.
It will be interesting to see how him and the team react on a back to back after two grueling games. I want to give Lively time to ramp up. I hope he can find ways to stay out of foul trouble. I also want to see him more involved in the offense. He should be doing things Clingan is trying. I want to see more of that. If he can be a 12-14 point per game player and be healthy, that can be a really impactful player. I also think both PG were solid. They do still do things that make me shake my head and are still too up and down for my liking, but I thought both looked pretty good yesterday.

Count me as on board with giving Josh Howard a shot. Mr. first quarter as a player and a very good player who deserves more credit than he has gotten. Glad to see he is on board.
