Nembhard just knows how to play. Size will be a serious issue for him but I could see him being a guy who finds a way to stick around a while.

He does look short out there but he hasn't given up.

Kelly has taken some plays off on defense. Especially not boxing out. Probably explains the quick pull but he's back in now.

Jaden doesn’t shoot it well enough. When he is hot, he is electric on offense. He just doesn’t shoot a good enough percentage so you can overlook his weaknesses.

Each year he looks like he's taken a step back. 

Still, the offensive talent is there. He just needs to get more consistent.

Cooper Flagg is... pretty freaking good? 

He looked like a vet out there. He scored all his points in 5 minutes when he finally looked for his shot. The entire first quarter he set everyone else up and made so many good passes. Defensively he was almost perfect. Had some lapses in the PnR defending the switch, but as a weakside defender he was everywhere. 

Him and PJ looked so good together. Him and AD looked so good together. Him and Lively looked so good together.

DLo had some good, some bad. I didn't really like his early shot selection but in transition he looked great.  When he finally ran some PnR's he shone. He had a kismet connection with Christie and found him on SO many beautiful backdoor cuts. 

PJ looked great. Limited minutes but he just looked solid.

Christie was a real standout. His ball handling looked noticeably better. He looked noticeably stronger. He was stout defensively. Just an all around good game from him.

Hardy was basically the opposite and was unremarkable the entire time on the court and made the same mistakes we lambasted him on last year.

I just caught the highlights on Youtube. It seems like Cissé is a good find. For one game (the highlights of said game, at least) I liked him more than Kai Jones.
