Seconds after they drafted another center in the lottery. Bonkers.

PHX fixed their center issues very quickly.

Maluach and Williams is a fantastic 2 center core.

Only issue is they have no PG (lol) and no PF.

The 2029 first-rounder is least favorable of Cleveland, Utah, and Minnesota (1-5 protected), sources said. Size was a problem for the Suns last season and they addressed in a big way with Williams and Khaman Maluach. Hornets net two first-rounders.

I guess Richards is out now (not guaranteed). Good move by Phoenix imho, if Williams can stay healthy. Lakers were overpaying big time in their unfinished trade at TDL

I think Phoenix has zero tradeable picks now. I think they are some 7 mil above 2nd apron even if they release Micic, Richards and Martin. Charlotte will have to take back O'Neale or Allen for Phoenix to get under the 2nd apron.

Edit: or find another taker for one of those salary with basically no salary coming back and no picks to motivate the taker

Nice moves by PHx. There center play was so bad the last few years. May have had a better outcome with KD if they had a rim presence. Both centers need some help but nice gambles.

I am really confused. No time to calculate their salaries, but it seems they are considerably over the 2nd apron currently. Of course there is still a bunch of stuff they could do. Trade Green for example.

Didn’t I read his option was not going to be picked up and he was going back overseas? Did he just make 8 million?
