The Sixers are trading KJ Martin and two second-round picks to Detroit, league sources say.

The picks involved are Milwaukee's 2027 second round pick and a Dallas Mavericks 2031 second round pick.

Philly ducks the tax and Detroit gets a nice compensation for their cap space. Biggest available cap space is gone now (as in not available for other trades).

Almost identical to the Hood-Schifino + two 2nds to Utah for absorbing the salary.

KJ Martin should get a long look. He played sparingly with the Clippers and Sixers, and they got two picks to boot. That's not bad.

Looks like I was wrong about the cap space and Martin was traded in the exception, so Detroit still has 13 mil in cap space
