Let me explain how this plays out.

Pelicans tank. They get Flagg. Then they trade Zion to the East for three 1st round picks that turn into two superstars, while Zion blows up to 400 pounds and retires. Just another day in the NBA and it´s G-League.

And Dyson Daniels is now showing in ATL, looking like a third year Dejounte Murray.  That'll not be a great trade in a few years.

And to think of all the hype this guy was getting in here. I said all along he was a wasted pick.  He should have all kinds of opportunities to blossom in Charlotte, but refuses to take advantage of them. He's too passive.

THJ got what looked like a really bad concussion. It's a tough play to watch. He left in a wheel chair. I hope he's ok.

ex mavs update:

It doesn't appear that Josh is taking the opportunity and running with it. He played 29 minutes last night and went 0-1 from the field. His previous 3 games he scored 2, 2 and 0. Scoring is not really his specialty but he needs to find ways to get 8-12 points. He disappears way too often.

DJJ looks to be a real nice signing by DJJ. He has a solid starting spot to for a team that has had a better than expected start.

I haven't been paying much attention for Detroit but they are 5-7 and it appears Hardaway is playing a role and not shot hunting. Shooting 45 percent from three early in the season. Reviews are early, but I would think Detroit is fine with moving the younger Grimes for Hardaway plus some future second round picks.

I hate to see Josh still not shooting. It's almost Ben Simmons-esque, but Josh is a high percentage shooter. More of a head scratcher there.

I like to see the ex Mavs find success elsewhere.

Is it really possible to win with Joel Embiid?

Often injured.

Ball-dominant.

When he’s out, the team has to run a completely different offense.

Surly attitude.

Sucks up a big chunk of the salary cap, so hard to fill out a well-rounded roster.

One of my least favorite players. I don't get the hype at all.

we don't have an excuse
the Thunder just won back to back games with SGA as their tallest starter(listed at 6'6")
their bench is mostly just guards and wings too

OKC players are just connected. They all play for each other and are well coached. Daigneault didn't win COY for nothing.

Damn, Wemby had a career high 50 pts, in a win over the Wizards, Giannis had 59 in a OT win vs Detroit, and KAT had 46 in a one point loss to the Bulls. 1st day in NBA history 3 players 6'11 or more had 45 or more pts the same day.

He's turning out to be a great pick. He had 27 pts the other night.
