If he came to the Rangers the dynasty would've been real.
Shame he chose such a shit franchise.

I really thought this was funny.
I'm a DP defender but I liked this comment.

2) I agree with all the positives you and everyone else list about Exum...his shooting worries me. That's going to hurt in the playoffs if he still doesn't have to be guarded tightly, I think. At that point, you reeaaaaaaly can't have someone out there who defenders can sag off of.
Based upon his stats in Euroleague, I really thought his 3-point shooting would be better. I thought he might be a decent 3 and D if he worked out at all.
I didn't anticipate he would be so good getting to the rim and creating. I don't really understand why he didn't succeed in the NBA earlier when he has so much skill. Hopefully, the shooting gets worked out and he can hit at 34% or so. If he can do that, it gives us some great depth.

What we should be thankful for is that it was Powell's butt that landed on Kyrie, and not his FACE. We'd be looking at a broken leg, at least.

I can usually monitor my own front. My only concern is Dwight Powell crashing into me from above.

Anyone watch any of there G league games? I have not. Dexter Dennis has had some good games per the box scores. He is an older rookie who was a great athlete and good defender. Good length too. He just wasn’t a good shooter.

With his fifth triple of the game, Luka Dončić has now reached 1,000 career 3-pointers made.
Dončić is the second-fastest to the milestone in terms of games played (351).
1. Buddy Hield: 350
2. Luka Dončić: 351
3. Donovan Mitchell: 355
4. Stephen Curry: 366

[MacMahon] Luka Doncic: “I don't know how I played [vs. Lakers]. I slept very little today. Everything hurts. I’m getting old, man, but we got two back-to-back wins, which is amazing, especially against a team like the Lakers. So I'm really proud of these guys.”

Just looked at our stats - Luka, Kai, THJ, GW, DJJ, Exum, and Curry all above 38% 3p%. Probably has a lot to do with our record. While some of those percentages may not be sustainable for some of the players, it does speak well to the Luka effect. I hate JKidd, but he's doing well at coaching the team on O this year.

The raw numbers look pretty decent to me and if he's able to sustain those, he gives the coaches a really hard time about the best rotations.

Clearly, the biggest roster problem is the lack of a quality, long, mobile 4 with shooting range who can push Grant into the back of the rotation, 8th man, where he would thrive.

We will see if it lasts (and he can stay healthy), but I have Exum as the fourth best player currently (I have Lively third at the moment). I will be interested to see how the rotation plays out when everyone is healthy. Do they put Green back at the starter and at the 6 minute mark bring in Exum and Hardaway. Or do they role with Exum and just start the rotations with Hardaway coming in at 6 minutes? At PF, I think I like Grant and Jones as the PF grouping with our current guys. Maybe Maxi or Morris get run depending on the matchups. Then we have the backup center position where Maxi, Dwight and Holmes are fighting for that 15-20 minutes.
It feels like when everyone is healthy Seth, Hardy and Green could be in trouble of getting long runs. It will be interesting to see how that plays out.
