…although, to be fair, what Dallas had wasn’t peak Wes. That Achilles thing slowed him considerably.
…and Wes was a superior shooter, by far.

The Brooks we’re seeing in Hou right now, on this team, would be everything everyone is clamoring for.

He's a career 34% shooter and has the head the size of a hot air balloon. I am SO glad the Mavs supposedly got outbid for Brooks.

I totally agree that he would have made this team better, and I would’ve much preferred him to Thybulle, for example.
But OMG is he an annoying person.

But OMG is he an annoying person. I haven’t seen that annoying personality all that much so far this year. That Mem team really fed into that side of his personality. I said all offseason that he needs to get away from that place.

DJJ has nothing to do with this...? And my point was right above if you read.
Brooks is a bad shooter. DJJ is historically a bad shooter. I don't want Brooks because he's a bad shooter AND he's a knucklehead that has a shot selection that makes THJ look like Larry Bird. 1 costs 20 million, the other a vet min.
Further, DJJ might suck at shooting the 3, but he shoots nearly 51% from the floor for his career. Brooks? 42%.

The thing with Brooks was I was questioning if he was crazy. If he went off the deep end last year. He had some really weird things last year.
Second, he seemed to view himself as a guy who should get 12-15 shots per game. That is not his role. No matter what he did this summer.
If he is not crazy and be under 10 shots a game, he has real value. So far it looks like he is playing within himself. We will see if that continues and what happens if he loses some minutes to the youngster as his time in Houston moves forward. So far, so good though.

Is it crazy to think that Haliburton should be top 3 in MVP voting based on the first 10-12 games of the season?
50/40/90 shooting on higher volume than Nash. Averaging 25ppg. 12.5ast vs 2.1tov. Assist numbers that we haven't seen since prime Stockton/Magic Johnson with less turnovers. Leading the best offense in the league (on pace for best in history).
In his last two games he had 25+ points /15+ assists / 0 turnover.

Double OT game tonight in Utah. Suns narrowly come away with it again.
Lauri has 38pt 17 rebound night. KD with 39.
Crazy game.

I never thought Haliburton had this level to him. Dude is challenging the best guards in the league right now and is slowly making a case that he's better than all of them.

Totally not posting this because I wanted the Mavs to sign/pick him in the days leading up to the draft...
Undrafted PG Craig Porter Jr with 21/4/4 7/10 FG 7/7 FT in a Cavs win over the Nuggets.

Lakers 29 FTs vs. Rockets 10 FTs in a one point win. LOL.

Why is it the Mavs always miss out on these diamond in the rough's?

Looks like the Kings used all their makes last night. Down 30 to the Pelicans.
Bucks score 42 against the helpless Wizards.
Celtics lose to hornets after being up by 18. Miles bridges gets the start and hits the big shot in overtime. Him and Mark Williams combine for 31 boards.
The season is getting away fast for Detroit. Panic trade by the gm coming? They lose to Denver without Murray and jokic and Malone getting thrown out. Jokic played 15 minutes.

And the T-Wolves have the best record in the West. Who saw that coming?

@KCJHoop
Andre Drummond still believes he's an NBA starter.
And this mindset is a good thing for the Bulls, who are benefitting from Drummond's buy-in and energy in a reserve role.
@johnhollinger
one of the very few positives in Chicago thus far

Giannis looks like he's on a mission. 40 pt games in 3 out of the last 5, with a 35 pt game mixed in.
