Offers an average salary of $14 per hour. Suprised that he cannot find employees. Starts to complain about unemployment benefits.
Not a fan of Cuban but sometimes I need to remind myself that it could be much worse.
You're probably right. He rubs me the wrong way like Bezos who runs his employees in the ground while paying them peanuts.

Also as a Cowboy fan, I shouldn’t be laughing at other teams terrible owners.

Interesting info emerging from the talks on a new CBA, and it underscores a truth that is very overlooked.
The situation -- it may be the PLAYERS who are going to say "no" to letting players enter right out of HS. In this case, the NBA's rank-and-file -- which makes up the vast majority of that voting bloc -- really doesn't want to have more competition added for the too-few jobs that exist. I would think the NBA generally would want a longer runway to the NBA too, so that players can be anticipated by fans from having performed elsewhere previously, and bring some star appeal before they ever arrive.
The truth -- The CBA has rules that have to appeal to a wide variety of groups. Star players, so-so players, big-market owners, small-market owners, and agents, they all have a seat at the table. There are a lot of chefs in the kitchen to satisfy.
The argument in the NBA anymore isn't about how much money the players will get paid. That's generally already settled. Instead, it's how to divide that financial pie, from one player to another. That makes for unexpected dynamics, when they are arguing over the rules that make that happen.

cuban should've purchased a franchise based in a big market like NY or LA or even houston instead of one located in Dallas that ain't attractive at all to big names. the best FA we got since cuban took ownership was monta ellis as far as I remember. deandre would've been arguably better if he hadn't reneged and had signed with us while he was still in prime.
we should build a team through wise drafts and trades, not by deluding ourselves with big name FAs who never seem to have considered signing with us. Even when we get a star player somehow by draft or trade, that player may probably choose to play elsewhere when contract expires (TC and JB). irony is, the team could have retained their services if cuban was willing to pay a bit more, but cuban ain't because we was mesmerized by the dream of big name FAs joining Dallas that would never come true. I wonder how cuban felt when the ex-mavs that walked elsewhere played great for their new teams while achieving personal glories (nash two straight mvp trophies, TC DPoY).
cuban needs to wake up for a few minutes and check what players we got from FA market vs. those we let walk.

I think he´s been shooting sub 30% from three for 2-3 months now.
Translation: We´ll get him refueled and rested, hoping to reach the play-offs without exhausting him.

With Lamelo out it for the rest of the year, Dallas will miss Lamelo this year. Charlotte has gone on a 5 game winning streak and now have the 4th worst odds for the lottery. They are five games up on 3rd place. The Lamelo injury sucks because it could be something that lingers. Although probably not the worst thing to end this little winning streak they are on.

Knicks 9 games over .500. I wouldn't have thought they would end up with a better record than the Mavs in even the worst case Mavs scenario to begin the year. They have been building smartly and have additional first round picks coming up if they want to get really aggressive. The Randle bounce back has been impressive. I thought they would have to pay a team to take him this offseason after his poor year last season. He has really bounced back this year.

Yeah, for sure. It’s amazing what good PG play can do for the other players.

Brunson has made all the difference, and they are 6-0 since trading for Josh Hart who does all the intangibles for them. Give Thibs credit as well as he has them playing D and has cut the rotation and plays 7-8 players. Plus, they are doing this without a good year from RJ Barrett. I would love to see a 4-5 matchup between them and Cleveland. Knicks aren't a laughing stock no more I'm afraid.

That has been the story of his coaching career. Works for a season. Maybe two. But longterm he is running his key players into the ground.

Without having watched the full video and while symathizing with Giannis I have to come to KD's defense and say: Giannis has Middleton and Holiday both of whom are arguably better/more useful than Booker and Paul in the playoffs. All in all he has a better team than KD, even better than the Nets because one of KD, Irving and Harden was always injured.
