I´m just saying that a clean ACL tear is really not as much of a concern anymore in modern sports medicine, unless you are 7´3 and chronically injured. Achilles and structural/deterioration knee damage would concern me for a basketball player. A clean ACL tear, outside of the 6-9 months recovery time, not so much. Lavine had the same injury and still looks like he could win a dunk contest. Make that an Achilles and he probably jumps as high as Boban.

It's too bad he can't fit in our TPE.

I get that THT isn´t a good fit on the Lakers but at least he is young. Ross is mediocre and old. Playing like this years version of THJ. (02-08-2022, 03:35 PM)cow Wrote: Who'd we pick that year? Man, if they get a young prospect (negative value or not) AND a mid 1st round pick for Ross, they´ll have no reasonable expectations for Harris, Bamba (or Isaac).

Could you imagine 2027 draft rolls around and the Lakers are the worst team in the league because Anthony Davis missed 100 out of 82 games that year and they don't have your draft pick because you mortgaged your future for....Terrance Ross????

The cherry on top is that THT is going to turn it around once he gets out of that mess.
Now that Sabonis is out of reach. Horrible horrible news. I cant take this in at the moment.
How about KP for Zion Williamson? Zion at his peak is 10x the player. We gamble with KP anyway. So if we gamble, why not gamble for real? Zion will be back at his peak is my guess. Especially with change of environment.
