The trade with ATL to get Luka was taken off the table a couple times by ATL and almost didn't happen. P.P.S. Vlade didn't draft Luka because he was blinded by not liking Luka's dad and thought Luka wouldn't fall far from the tree so to speak.

Luka's dad seems like a genuine idiot. He was also extremly talented but mainly drank/party away the talent. I can't comment on their private life, but looks like dad has no part in it for a long time. But ok, he didn't had the guidance Luka did. He was in some difficult life situations which obviously didn't handle well.

Kings doing Kings things. The biggest takeaway to me was that JJ basically mentored Luka in his rookie year, speaking spanish and being an intermediate between him and Carlisle.

I’ve been watching basketball going back to the Magic/Bird rivalry. Luka is the third best player I’ve ever seen. Of course, he has to stay healthy, but otherwise, he’ll challenge for GOAT.
