- He has been reported he would like to play with Luka, KP and the Mavs
-He is friends with Luka, KP and Boban on Instagram and has liked recent posts from Luka (ok, I know this is a weak one)
-He is a young, skilled player
Sure the fit may not be great, but lets just add talent now. Lets try to figure it out later. Maybe him and Kp can't play together so you have to stagger most of their minutes. But maybe they can play together.
I am not sure if we have anything Chicago would want, Or if we can get to the salary range for him.
But if you have a young skilled player who has stated he would like to play for Dallas. Why not make it happen and see what he looks like with Luka Magic.
Ok, with that being said I am sure he will sign with Minnesota or OKC soon.
They can't play together, but if he only costs the MLE (which we might get back if we can turn Bullock into S&T) and we trade both Powell and WCS to Toronto, I could see him pair up decently with Maxi in the second unit.

Or maybe we trade Powell, Burke and Terry for Dragic and then trade WCS to Chicago for Laurie into the TPE. We could pay him more than the MLE (and he wants to come here anyways). Looks like Chicago might need some center depth.

Powell Burke Terry makes the most sense for Dragic
Lauri for the TPE and Brown/2nd/cash

I’m being told that the league has granted the Los Angeles Lakers an additional $100M in cap space. They plan to absorb Goran Dragic’s $19M expiring contract into this new cap space. Toronto expects no compensation back per the league’s request.

Bobby Marks is saying the Richaun Holmes deal is for $46 million, not $55 million. Holmes has deleted his tweet celebrating his return to Sacramento.

we'd still have the MLE to use if we could SnT for Bullock right?

Just the right size deal to sign-and-trade him to Dallas into the TPE (after Mavs trade DP/Burke for Dragic).

Doesn't TOR have interest in Holmes? Wouldn't it make more sense to send Holmes to TOR, Powell to SAC, and Dragic to DAL in that case?

I would rather the Mavs have Holmes and Dragic. Let TOR find their own impossible ideas!

Dragic to the Lakers with nothing going back to Toronto? Say what you will about the Lakers, but for a team that has no money to spend, they are making things happen. If those geezers can stay healthy, they might be back in the hunt.

Markennen seems very possible because he’s missed out on big money and we know he wants to be here. Could see him doing a 1 year deal here at maybe 7 million. Can you get Chi to s&t for WCS/Moses Brown? Then do Powell/Burke/Terry for Dragic. Sign Tony Bradley at the min. Pretty good 10 man rotation.
Luka/Brunson
THJ/Dragic
DFS/Bullock
Kleber/Markennen
KP/Bradley

Markanen isn't a feasible target. He can get 1 yr 9M anytime he wants it, and then be UFA next summer. Mavs don't have an avenue to put an offer on the table that would entice him.

List of remaining free agents that I have interest in:
Guards:
George Hill
Lou Williams
Victor Oladipo
Danny Green
Reggie Jackson
Brynn Forbes
Reddick (if he wants to return)
Avery Bradley
Forwards:
Justise Winslow
Paul Milsap
Kelly Oubre
Josh Hart
Lauri Markknanen
John Collins
Centers:
Enes Kanter
Aron Baynes (Should the Raps waive him)
Demarcus Cousins
Willy Hernangomez
Lots of guys still there. Money's going quick so perhaps they can get one of these guys on a much cheaper contract that we're expecting.
