The bigger difference is the three-point range. But yeah.

I’m talking exclusively on defense.
Your comment is puzzling to me, because that was obvious. It was like the third or fourth post I made about the PJ/Kleber combo ON DEFENSE.

Another amazing defensive play made by Kleber. Green will get credit for the steal, but that was Maxi Kleber’s play.

Should we be relieved or upset that the Mavs can coast and then start playing down the stretch to beat Washington?

not over yet, but this is sort of like the Dirk Mavs. They could play around for 3.5 quarters and make the winning plays in the last 6 minutes. Just didn't like how this Mavs team got there tonight.
again not over, but without looking at the stats Kleber may get my Dirkie with some huge plays late.

PJ needs to practice those corner threes. His defense was good today so he'll get a pass

The people that didn't want Kuzma were absolutely right. He sucks. I thought he was a better player, but he's not.

Agreed. The corner threes are going to be a requisite skill for him here. It’s cool that he can dribble and create offense, but he;s got to be a shooter, too.

He’s crazy talented for how big he is. He is just very dumb. He belongs on a team with Jordan Poole, not Luka Dončić.
And if you need more proof, I heard on the stein podcast that he actually begged Washington not to trade him here. He doesn’t want to play with Luka, probably because he gets to be the main offensive focal point for his team and that’s all he cares about.
