Bobby Karalla is on the DLLS postgame right now speaking absolute truth, as usual. It was so obvious all summer that this wasn't going to work. I feel pretty silly for allowing a modicum of hope to seep into my heart.

Of course it’s obvious. Basketball is a game of space. You have to use all of it. Even when healthy, the Mavs don’t have a modern roster that can space the floor. They have no chance. I mean, they should still win about 41 games, so they’re underachieving, but I’d prefer that they fail big, and go into the lottery with a decent chance at a top 3 pick. The top 3 guys this year are very, very good. And then we can just reset this trainwreck and hope for the best — hope I don’t die before they can field a contending team again. It may be awhile.
