It´s pretty consistent with his performance in actual legit competition, not some Harlem Globetrotters Vegas version. 

You guys make projections about this poor kid coming to a better league in a different country, because some have these unrealistic expectations about the Mavs. None of them have the balls to put their money where their mouth is. Put your life savings on the Mavs over 33.5 wins. Guys that´s a 34-48 season. Easy money.

So they lost to Portugal, Sergio played 11 minutes and was -20. He attempted one shot. And I´m not saying this to take the kid down. You do a fine job of that with your unrealistic expectations about him as a rookie.

On the bright side at least he was not -22 and the reason Boston didn´t want to trade for Giannis instead of Paul George.

I have never stated any particular expectations for him as a rookie.  I hope he develops into a high level NBA point guard eventually and have stated that hope may be unrealistic.  But I am not going to base my hopes or expectations on an 11 minute sample.  It's that kind of mindset that convinced our FO to not extend Brunson.  I realize this coming season could be rough and used the current Vegas line to try to set other folks expectations, so not sure why you are trying to point that out to me.  I expect this to be a developmental season and I am fully prepared for some growing pains.
