Just like Dinwiddie and maybe Clarkson, a guy who can fill some holes and help you win.

It is the vet min. Just like Bruce Brown.

No questions about his diet, liquids, and BMI I guess...
I am worried about his shoulders, carrying the weight of the league like that

Fischer and Stein are all over twitter saying the deal that sends Durant to Houston is near final and includes SEVEN TEAMS!!!

Uh oh. I wonder if Dallas is involved, and to what extent.

As tested during the 2024–25 NBA G League season and in effect for all 2025 NBA summer leagues, an unsuccessful end-of-period 'heave' will be recorded as a team—not individual—missed field goal attempt when all of the following criteria are met:

-The missed field goal attempt took place within the final three seconds of the first three periods of a game.

-The missed field goal attempt was shot from beyond the outer edge of the center circle extended (approximately 36 feet from the basket), as shown below.

-The play originated in the backcourt.
14x All-Star, 12x all-NBA, 1x MVP, 1x Finals MVP, 1 NBA Championship: Dirk Nowitzki, the man, the myth, the legend.

Ha!

They understand the crowd-pleasing value of a midcourt heave!

They also understand the players’ hesitance to shoot a very low percentage shot which damages their shooting stats.

Heave away!

It's interesting to me that we haven't heard anything official about Horford to GSW yet. Is he considering other teams? Is he considering retirement?

Not sure about retirement. But I think GSW needs to first solve the Kuminga situation before they can see how much they can pay to other players.

You're probably right. I totally forgot about him.

I wonder how much business is being held up waiting for this huge 7-team Durant deal to go through.

IMO none whatsoever. The deal was set with deal 1 (KD to Hou) and has simply been adding on to tie into and use already-generated exceptions. But details of each added deal were figured out as each was negotiated. And it's been DAYS for the dust to settle so to speak.

The only reason it has not been made official is because NOTHING has. July 6 at noon is the restart.

Beal getting bought out and signing with Denver, as rumored, probably makes them the favorite.
