Struggled from 3, had some shots blocked at the rim early, smooth in the mid-range. Scored 25. Set up Nique Clifford for the game-winning 3 on his fourth assist with five seconds left.

Final: Grizzlies 111, OKC 74. 15-4-4 for Cam Boozer in 22 minutes. O-Max led Memphis with 17 points. Taylor Hendricks had 15 points in 12 minutes. Javon Small had 11 points and nine assists. Cedric Coward had 11 points and eight boards. Jahmai Mashack was impressive. Brooks Barnhizer: 13 points and 6 rebounds; Aday Mara: 10 points and 4 assists; Bennett Stirtz: 10 points and 3 steals for OKC.

But it’s hard to watch Darryn Peterson’s first two games in the Salt Lake City Summer League and not think he can be truly special. Monday night, in a game hyped as No. 2 pick Peterson against No. 3 pick Cameron Boozer, it was Peterson who stole the show with 25 points and 12 assists (to just two turnovers). He was explosive, showed off his shooting range, and his decision-making was way beyond his years. “What is greatness to me? I think it’s just kind of being one-of-one,” Peterson said. “I would say to achieve greatness, definitely something I want to try to achieve. Far away from it now, so early in my career — it’s Summer League — but it’s something I wanted to try to achieve in my career.”

Mavs begin summer league today.  I wonder if Nemhbard plays?  I didn't see him in the pictures they took yesterday from practice.   I believe he had a game with Team Canada a day or two ago.

oops my bad.  I did find it strange they were still in Dallas yesterday and Sergio went to a world cup game.  Makes sense now.
