2021 NBA DRAFT: July 29, 7 pm

I'm with you, that we have a different opinion here.

The GM should have some room, but the owner points the direction. And doing risky braindead stuff, when you have someone like Luka, is a absolute no-go.

I agree, Maxi or JB alone should get that return. Now, JB and Powell for that package? Let’s talk.

What´s brain dead about it? Kleber was undrafted. Brunson was a 34th pick. What if the GM feels he´s potentially looking at the next Jokic, Gobert, Middleton or Draymond etc.

Is he supposed to sit on some 7th and 8th man on a championship rotation rather than take a chance on such a player with a late 1st round pick?

That´s what the GM is paid for. To make such decisions. To find such value.

There are dozens of starters drafted #20+ that are far superior to Brunson and Kleber.

34th
17th
15th
10th
41st
22nd
35th
19th
Undrafted

You know what that is? The draft positions of the Bucks NBA finals rotation in order of minutes played. ONE LOTTERY PICK.

But I give you that is probably exactly the reaction the King of Short Sightedness Mark Cuban would have to such a trade proposal.

Exactly the reason why it is so interesting and crucial how much decision-making power Harrison truly has.

Glad to hear Chad Ford is on the Vrenz Bleijenbergh bandwagon!

The braindead thing is to give two fringe starters on good contracts for the nineteenth pick, a negativ asset in Knox and a secondround pick you can definitivly buy this year.

I expect Nico to make better deals.

Brunson is an UFA next summer, but hey who needs an asset, when we can let him walk for free, cause that worked so well the last 10 years. I expect Nico to look ahead further than his next breakfast.

Kleber averaged 5 points and 4 rebounds in 27 MPG in the play-offs. The year before be averaged 7 points and 7 rebounds in 34 MPG. You know the healthy version.

You can find a PF/C every summer for $9M to do that. The Knicks picked up Taj Gibson from the street and he did exactly that in the play-offs this year.

So a GM should pass up a chance for an (in his mind) franchise altering draft pick, because of a bench player that averages 6/6, whose production you can find every summer and on the buyout market in March.

Yeah that is braindead indeed, but congratulations I move you up to the #1 spot for user most likely to be Mark Cuban. Big Grin

I'm not against trading one of them for a pick, if Nico believes in a player, I think both of them and taking Knox is a huge overpay.

And thanks I didn't think my english would support comments like this.

This one must be a great player. 6-0 with 6-8 wingspan

Quote:I don’t really compare my game to another player, i have my own game, and thats it. If i watch some clips to get better at some things i look a lot to Luka Doncic because he is also a really good pick and player.
