You may be right. If so, then so be it, and the Mavs will have to pick and hopefully find the right answers from whatever that reality is. (BTW, I'm not sure why you keep trying to create something adversarial, as I'm not arguing with you or anyone else on these numbers, before or now. I have no interest in that sort of conversation over upcoming salaries. They will be whatever they will be, we can't argue them into existence at any particular price.)
Although, if I understood your post correctly, you do think some will be getting more, and some will be getting less, so not sure how to interpret your saying that we should expect each free agent player to get paid more than they're worth.
