Franchises without a play-off series win in the last decade

3-4 against the Spurs (Parker, Duncan, Ginobili, young Kawhi), win it all against Heat
1-4 against the Rockets (Harden, Howard), lose WCF against the Warriors
1-5 against the Thunder (Westbrook, Durant, Ibaka), lose WCF against the Warriors
2-4 against the Clippers (Kawhi, PG), lose 2nd round against the Nuggets
3-4 against the Clppers (Kawhi, PG), ?

In the late Dirk years the opponents probably had the best two players on the floor in all series. In both series against the Clippers Luka could match Kawhi but the Clippers had a way deeper roster.
Don´t know how a different coach would have changed that.

It might be time to change coaches, but Carlisle hasn't been some gatekeeper between the Mavs and success. Quite the opposite, imo. And, if they do go younger at coach, they'd better have one hell of a hotshot waiting for the gig. If they give this job to another Avery Johnson I think I'll try to force myself to become a Spurs fan.

My guess is that Mosely would be first in line if the job was open, and I sincerely hope nobody here actually wants that.
