Curry still had a very efficient night. I don’t think the defensive success was so much about stopping him as it was about denying him the ball more than usual and forcing the other players to step up. They didn’t. The Mavs also seemed to take some very well scouted defensive positions that kept the Warriors from exploiting the Mavs when they overplayed Curry. Good team effort. The Mavs were well prepared for that game, almost like it were a playoff game.
