I liked your post. I will just comment the THT part here. As much potential as one can think THT has, paying him 20 per at this stage would be crazy. He is far from that value now, imho. If one really likes THT and is willing to patiently develop him, SnT is the way to go, imho. JRich for him makes a lot of sense for both teams. I think JRich is better player now and Lakers are interested in "now".

As for the rest. I think if Powell is fourth big (behind KP, Maxi and new guy), than he is too expensive and he should be traded (or dumped) to cover the rest of holes.

Mavs can also decline his TO and sign him with one of the exceptions.

I think here an interesting debate can happen - which holes can be filled with rMLE and BaE? I think fourth big is easy for BaE. Plenty of candidates to choose from. There are also a lot of options for fourth guard for max rMLE: Ellington, Forbes, Bazemore. Mikhailuk could be an interesting younger option. Or there is a bunch of more of a defensive specialists like Ntilikina, Nwaba, Bonga or Bruce Brown. Although most of those are more in the vet min teritory than exception money. Batum is also an interesting option.
