BUT I will say I've cooled off on my dislike after viewing him as new iteration of Brian Cardinal/Eduardo Najera. He is about 3x overpaid what he should be making, but there's no getting around that.
I do think the Mavs try their darndest to offload a Powell+Burke package on anyone, and try and get back the best role players they can get. Tall order for sure, but maybe a team with an overpaid star/role player that's waning could be talked into such a measly return.
