Wow. For a player who had a player option for next season and was likely going to become a free agent who they didn't want to compete to keep, they picked up 3 firsts and two pick swaps. I mean, what did you expect?
So for a good team they would know they could keep Jrue. If the Nets or Sixers or Clippers or any one of these good teams get Jrue one way or another he is staying. Bucks gave this up bc they know they can keep him and are all-in on keeping Giannis, a generational talent.
I am very surprised Boston couldn't have made a better offer. They had 3 1st round picks this year and Gordon Hayward (sort of). I guess that could have fallen apart if the Pels/Hayward didn't want each other. I also don't know why Kemba wouldn't have been an option.
Nets have good players, it would have made sense for them to put together a package. I just think all these Bucks picks will be garbage.
