Are teams still allowed to straight up sell picks for cash the way they used to? If so, some of these teams might think they the need the money more than they need a rookie this year.
Someone posted a report a while back that several teams in the 20s were looking to sell picks to avoid cluttering their cap. That seemed to be based on the idea that this was a weak draft, which, as I've said, I don't buy at all (except, of course, at the very top). If enough teams pick unwisely in the top 20, there should be some nice players left in the 20s. Would love for the Mavs to buy a pick there. P.S. - In that report, it was mentioned to Mark and he said, "We're buyers." Please please please said James Brown and Scott.
