PLAYOFF GAME 4: LAC (2-2) @ DAL (2-2) | 135-133 OT win (Luka game-winning three)
Random thoughts:

Paul George is so bad offensively it's almost too much to believe. He does have more success driving to the basket. You still have to chase him off the 3 point line, its not like you can just leave him out there. And yet he still shoots a lot. I don't get it. He can get to the basket pretty easily. I did see him make some great passes off a drive and kick, that's really been his only offensive contribution.

Luka is so great I can't even believe it. There are no words. One of the greatest Mavs wins of all time. I was wondering if this series could have a Vince Carter 3 to go up over the Spurs moment and here we are.

Maxi cannot buy a bucket but he needs to shoot a thousand of them tomorrow before the next game and still shoot them in the game. If we want to win this series he has to hit a few. I do wonder if Rick should give MKG more minutes doing Maxi things (he was out there some this game). I would take an MKG 3 over a Maxi 3 right now just to see if it goes in.

KP back in game 5 is a must. The Clippers figured out how to slow down the Mavs by going small towards the end. It required a lot of gutty and sometimes lucky shots for Mavs to eek out a win. I don't think their strategy is going to work with KP out there, he creates too much space. If KP isn't available for game 5 I think we are in big trouble, which kind of goes without saying. It's amazing we won a game where KP played zero minutes but that can't happen again.

Glad to see Burke getting a lot of minutes, that needs to continue. He came ready to play and he's not afraid of the moment.

Curry is also playing great.

I might have liked to see Boban in the 4th to counteract the Clips playing small. I am not sure their switching would have worked with Bobi out there.

Mavs almost lost this game once they realized they could win and started playing not to lose. I also thought they looked exhausted for much of the 4th and all of OT. I am surprised a coach keeps sending tired guys out there when you have the ability to at least give guys a short rest.

Clips have all the pressure, especially if/when KP returns for game 5. I think you have to figure out what to do with Kawhi. At this point in the series you see guys getting the yips. Clips don't have many of those players but they do have some and even Paul George is one of those guys. I am sure Morris and Jackson and Shamet can beat us but I'd rather them do it than Kawhi. He has ice in his veins and pushes off every time he gets near the basket. Refs aren't going to call him pushing off but they will call touch fouls on him. You have to get the ball out of his hands with doubles at least some of the time.

The timing is just right.

God help us if he ever gets to 100.
