I honestly have a hard time calling most of KP’s “screens” a screen. It’s mostly him moving to the ball handler, the ball handler going too soon and KP slightly pushing the defender (mostly just touching him with his hand, not really even a push). Some of that is on the ball handler, but DP, after 2 years of practicing it, had the same issues and figured out how to get his body on the defender which disrupts him and the defensive scheme and temporarily (split second) takes him out.
I know the stat guys count this as a screen, it does mostly get the desired switch currently since no one has figured out they aren’t actually being stopped from guarding the ball handler. Wonder if this gets exposed in the playoffs when teams get the time to key in on it.
