This is Dusty’s MO all along and anyone who had done research on May should have known this. He wants high hustle, team oriented movement and passing and playing with fun and passion. His locker room comments about 80 more games and never concerning themselves with the scoreboard were straight out of his textbook.
Seeing a glimpse of it materialize in game two is nice. This is going to be a rollercoaster. But when these kids get this into their nervous system permanently this team is going to exceed expectations. I’m getting my “I Told You So” neon banners out and ready, although I don’t expect to have to use them until after the all-star break.
Nope, I'm sorry. No rollercoaster.
It's 81-1, baby.
