Here comes my hot take, but isn't Sasser just a slightly less version of Wallace?  I just feel like the assets plus money you'd have to use to get him wouldn't be worth it.  I would absolutely love to have him, but I just don't see it happening.  

Then again, player values have been all over the place this summer.

I don't think that's a crazy take. They clearly wanted a point of attack defender who could shoot in the rotation, and Sasser can also create shots for himself, believe it or not. I don't think it's crazy to think they believe he can flourish in a bigger role, and these ARE the main benefits to be gained by hypothetically adding Wallace.
