I can kind of see it, from this perspective. Good stuff.
I kind of think Marshall (as an expiring AND as a player) and Thompson (as an expiring AND a bench shooter for a very close contender) might have some value NOW. Would your desire to kick the can down the road, asset wise, be about who's available? I'm not sure I'm confident you'd get a better young player than Henderson or Sharpe then, and I kind of think the higher price tag narrows the field of possibilities then, even with it being expiring.
