Obviously, the best “off-season-finishing” target would be
1) a big-for-position SG,
2) who could take minutes at lead guard, 
3) who is a great POA (as opposed to POS) defender,
4) who has creational abilities only a bit less prodigious than Cooper and Kai’s,
5) who is a lights-out 3-point shooter, and
6) who is either young or a great vet presence.

Sadly, that’s a HOF resume. 

Who comes closest whom we can reasonably acquire?

Given that none of the names that we ended up acquiring were names that were in obvious rumors before hand, I'll give another one that doesn't seem likely but kiinnnnda fits the mold (with much less offensive secondary creation though): Moses Moody.  Without our TPEs it seems less likely, I was just thinking if GSW had to shake stuff up to bring in a 41 year old wing.
