And, I struggle with extending Marshall at all, at any price, with the way I perceive his fit with Flagg. I understand the Mavs front office and coach might feel differently, but I'd at least want to see it work on the court before giving him the deal. No argument whatsoever with him being a valuable player deserving of a raise. My issue with him is strictly based on my opinion of his fit here in Dallas.
It’s a similar dilemma the Mavs faced with Brunson. How good will he be? And what’s his fit with Luka here?
Maybe we should wait to see what he becomes before we offer him the big money…
