Beacuse nobody wants to mess with Balmer. Hate to say it, but the league is probably justified in wishing to avoid that path in real life. It sucks, but I get it.
I guess the good news for Mavs fans is that our ownership group is much closer to that Blamer level than Cuban was. They were able to make Cuban more wealthy than he has actually ever been at any point, I think, and STILL be vastly more wealthy than he is now.
