At this point, if the target isn't a GUARD, I'm not sure it's worth talking about.

GUARDS.

I know this is what you mean, and Smitty has already made this point, but by guards what this team desperately needs is playmaking.  There are two rotational level players on this roster that can provide any level of playmaking, and neither is really a point guard.  This has been an issue with the roster for many years that was partially masked by Luka.  Since he left the offense has been a disaster.  I'm not sure any trade that sends out assets makes sense unless the player coming back can provide some level of playmaking.
