I'd still take Brown on my team and I think he could be the guy on a lot of teams, but probably not a contender. It's a weird spot for Boston, and my thinking is probably outdated here, as I still have concerns about the long term of Jason Tatum with that Achilies injury.
Also, maybe I'm crazy, but I'm still torn on the Bucks decision to send Giannis to the Heat over the Celtics just because I think you could eventually flip Brown to another team and net yourself 2-3 FRPs.
Sample size and I'm really just going off of my eye test. I didn't look up stats. Neither are chopped liver and I don't think the gap between them is all that big. I'd take either on my team, but I'd probably pick Booker if I had to choose one and that's probably more to do with personality, which is weird to say because I sports hate Booker.
Brown is a particularly bad fit for the Mavs right now, because 1) he will want to be the man, and 2) Flagg is the man, but probably too young and humble to assert himself.
