I just checked eFG at basketball reference and Brown was at 0.522 % last season while Booker was at 0.507 %. It is true that Booker is better in true shooting and ass/TO, but BPM and VORP Brown is better again. To me was problematic a take that Booker is supposed to be considerably better offensive player, so much so that better defense Brown plays doesn't outweight the difference on the offensive side.

And Booker has a better EPM, which takes into account their on count impact (including Brown being a net negative).  You are also focusing on a single year.  I am looking at multiple years which skews the numbers more in Bookers favor.  Regardless, neither is a top 10 player.
