One thing I will take away from tonight is that IF Dallas goes another direction with the 9 pick than guard, they are involved in a trade at some level with Brooklyn as the nexus. Mara/Ament, the two pieces in play outside of guards, are the type of pieces that roster is in need of at this point. I could also see a scenario where Dallas selects Mara and keeps him in order to move Gafford: Worst case scenario on the surface - Gafford to LAL; Reaves (S&T) to Nets; pieces to Dallas
