The Thunder are in active talks with multiple teams on trading Lu Dort’s $17.7 million expiring contract.

If OKC trades Dort with nothing in return, they instantly create a $17.7 million TPE to use in any deal over the next year.

Keep an eye on the Lakers as a team in pursuit.

Interesting what would be the trade if Lakers are involved. OKC doesn't need their #25 pick in this draft and Lakers are unlikely to trade FRP in 2031 or 2033 for Dort (he is not worth an unprotected pick, imho). A SRP and a pick swap from Lakers? I think OKC could get more than just one SRP for Dort.
