Trade & Free Agency 2026/2027

One of the things the board doesn't talk about much is the possibility making draft day trades from our current roster to acquire "future" picks for the '27 '28 and '29 drafts. This particular draft is pretty sexy, so I get it. But if you're the FO, this is probably something to consider if you're shuffling your roster around.

I doubt that would impact the #9 pick, but everything else seems like fair game. Honestly, the most surprising thing to me would be if the Mavs picked #s 9, 30, and 48 and nothing else happened.

Teams may not be willing to give up those picks due to the anti-tanking draft rules.
