I haven't studied Spurs future assets much, but should they fall short this year, I wonder if there might be a potential Kyrie for Fox swap.  We'd be doing Kyrie a solid and should get rewarded for upgrading that position and taking on Fox's contract.  It would also allow us to have watchable basketball since we aren't swapping Kyrie for a non-PG.  I'm not sure the Spurs want to be in the Kyrie business, but it's a win now move that could push them over the top.  /random thoughts

The Spurs are positioned great   Have some future picks coming to them.    

Fox could be an issue.  A good player who is in his prime.  Although soon, maybe already, they have a young point guard who will need to be a core player.   Fox has four years left on his contract from 49 mil to 61 mil.  In today's cap world that appears to be a dead zone.   AS good as Fox is, he seems like a duplication soon.   A very expensive one.
