"The Mavericks have signaled an openness to moving some of the veteran players on the roster as the team prepares to build for the future around Cooper Flagg moving forward.
Daniel Gafford, PJ Washington, Naji Marshall, and Klay Thompson would be names worth monitoring in Dallas."
" names worth monitoring" -- This is a reasonable common-sense take (but not really very informative, since we all knew this already, and he's not claiming any particular knowledge.) 'Keep an eye on these guys, because SOMETHING might happen with one or more of them.' (And then again, maybe none of them are moved - just keep an eye on it.) You look at the Mavs roster, and those are the ones to logically think they have value, and the Mavs might be willing to move.
The big unknown is how highly the Mavs value having them in Dallas, and how much another team would want to pay. Those questions tend to be "eye of the beholder" things, both among teams and also among fans.
