Just like if Presti left OKC for Dallas, I would have lost some respect for him. I think the same of Scheyer. I think he has a chance to be very good. Although, Duke is his dream job. It wouldn't make sense for him to leave now just three years in. He hasn't won a title yet either. Maybe in 10 years.
I don't know much about Dusty May. Good sign that he had a team jell fast with mostly transfers. Mara and Johnson are both transfers who went from no one talking about them in the first round to everyone talking about them.
If college is being considered, Hurley has to be your first call. Maybe he tells you no way or maybe he is not your cup of tea, but he is the best coach in college. In their game against Duke, it was awesome to see how they changed focus mid game to attack Duke. The first half they were getting beat bad. I was rooting for Duke, but that second half UCONN figured things out and came storming back. He does those things all the time. I don't expect he is the guy, but he should be a call if you are looking at college coaches.
