As it is he lacks the perimeter skills (handles, ability to attack close outs, shooting) on offense. Turning him into a wing would be a longterm project.
I like him, but I don't know where his minutes would come from at center. Cisse will likely be the third center and he runs the floor as good as most PFs. I didn't see any video of Ejiofor on the wing, but he'd have to spend time there on this Mavs team. That's why I don't see him as a fit really.
