'Lively is just a bonus'. Once I changed my mindset to that, it made it easier to talk about him in the proper context.
I don't know what his trade value would be around the league, but I've recently had the thought of trading him for pick 14-20 in this years draft and taking Jayden Quaintance. That seems to be the area he's being mocked. I don't know that Lively has that kind of value though...
The reason it's worth considering is you get a 18 year old Big that resets the contract decision you'll have on Lively, who I think will never be a full time player. Quaintance is still not 100% back from his ACL tear in February 2025, but for me is worth the risk in a Lively for Quaintance swap.
Very unlikely on several fronts. Lively probably doesn't have FRP trade value and might very well be in Masai's plans for the build around Coop. Either way, if you change your mindset to 'anything from Lively is a bonus', you won't be as disappointed.
