If so, it would make even more sense that Connelly is not planning on going anywhere as the potential Wolves opening would be much more appealing than the Bulls opening.
My prediction for the Mavs is Ricardo gets the permanent GM position, but the Mavs hire a president of basketball operations above him. This will be someone with a lot of skins on the wall, but not someone who wants to do the daily GM stuff. Myers would be the ideal candidate, but not sure he has interest. Steve Kerr type too....not saying I want him but a guy with that type of time in the league.
