I am not sure if either are back, but if you could pick 1 who would you want on a two way: AJ Johnson or Tyler Smith? Both are similar in age. Both didn't have a lot of reps of important basketball prior to their draft. AJ is a guard who has some wiggle but has no idea how to play. I was not impressed with Smith but the TV crew on the last game was talking how nice his shot looked and he went out and made several threes. He is a wing. Probably more of a 4 than a 3 at this stage.
What are the thoughts on John P? I have been surprised how big he looks. He looks a legit 6'5-6'6 with a plus wingspan. Typically for a guy from an Ivy who went undrafted, I would think those guys are closer to 6'3ish. John P looks legit good sized. The said on the TV that he is signed for a two way next year. The mavs could get out of that, but if true it would make sense to bring him back as a two way and see how he continues to develop.
