Noah Weber on The Smoking Cuban is reporting that Tim Connelly could be a primary target, depending on how MIN does in the playoffs. I don't know that they are expected to go very deep, so he might be open to a discussion. Apparently still has a year left on his current contract.
MIN has a FRP this summer that is involved in some kind of complicated pick swap scheme. They also have a couple of SRPs with similar complications, but may end up being late picks.
No 2027 FRP and one SRP. They have a decent starting 5 + a couple of OK bench players, but there's not a lot else there. They are just under the first apron, but will likely go over that if they re-sign Dosunmu and add even vet min contracts for the rest. They only have 9 contracts for next season, two of which are 33 y/o Gobert and 31 y/o Randle. Dosunmu would make 10, so there are slots to fill. I guess they could do some 1-for-2 trades, but that's usually just salary dumping.
I guess Connelly could be interested in trying to build another contender in DAL, having Coop as the keystone is a good start.
Is this guy an acceptable candidate if Presti/Myers/Lindsey aren't available?
