I probably worded point guard vs creator playing with Coop. I agree that this is developmental time for Coop. I think sooner than later he is going to be your top 2 creator on a good offense. It will be even better if he is one of three creators earlier in his career though. It is all about getting him reps.
It just looks much better when he is playing with someone who can set the table. Right now, he holds the ball way too much and it sticks a little. There is very little setup on the offense. When Nembard comes is, it just looks different. Now Nembhrad creates some other negative things, but the ball just moves better with another guard on the court. You can still have Cooper run the offense but just having someone who looks to get the ball moving is contagious.
