Also, does Dumont even have final say?   Isn't that the Old lady?   I mean Dumont has gone to like 3 home game this year.   Isn't he taking leadership of the Sands Corporation soon?  That is where they get most of their revenue.   I could see Addelson losing interest in basketball, especially if there is no gambling deal coming soon.  I mean she is 80 years old.   I have been worried that her younger son would eventually get the ownership role.   

Maybe Mirian is not interested in a fledgling basketball team, and Dumont despite his lack of interest going to games is trying to keep the team?   The decision may not be his.
