First, props to Stein. Whether it is accurate is tbd, but Stein is sort of an independent media guy now and it feels like he is still one of the most trustworthy and relevant guys without the big media behind him.
If accurate, it shows that the discussions with Dallas is real, I think. Means they were probably closer to a deal than some were thinking. I don't think they move Trae unless they had another deal lined up. Maybe it is Davis or maybe it is something else. I don't think they would move Trae and call it a day though.
Edit---one thing with this being in the works and Hawks saying Rishacher not being traded it makes you wonder if he is not included in the most recent conversations.
